About Me

I'm Ethan Hill. I'm a passionate Frontend Developer. I'm currently 21 and I started my programming journey in 2017 when I was introduced to HTML. Since then I have been working on my career in Software Engineering or Web Development.

I have spent a lot of my spare time creating projects to help myself learn new aspects of different programming languages and design methodologies. I've been studying software engineering and web development since 2019 and it has been brilliant.

TeeDee

A simple todo app built with Nuxt 3 and styled with TailwindCSS. Users can log in using their GitHub account and create, complete, and remove tasks. All tasks are stored in a Supabase database.

Nuxify

My first attempt at creating a web app using Nuxt 2 which intergrates with the spotify web API, allowing you to login, control and search your playlists and songs.

Webify

A web app using NextJS / TS which intergrates with the Spotify Web API, to view your profile and playlists.

Here I had studied Design and Technology with systems where I had studied the creation and programming circuit boards and creating a speaker with 3.5mm audio jack and working lights all synced.

College

Location: Gateshead College

Duration: 3 years

I originally looked into studying Cyber Secuirty but at the last minute I changed to Software Engineering and Development which I have never regreted.

Near the end of my time here I studied some simple usage of HTML, CSS and some JS for some cool animations which got me hooked to Web development.

Work

Location: Drummond Central

Duration: 2 years

Working as a Frontend Developer I have became familiar with agency work and working with clients in a fast changing enviornments. Working with brands like END, Nandos, Greggs and more!

My main progress so far has been implementing systems to make frontend development in our team super easy.

High School
